Specialty Consulting, Inc. (SPC), is a Hispanic–owned, infrastructure engineering and scientific consulting firm based in Chicago. Established in 2003, the firm offers structural\-architectural engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, and occupational safety consulting services. We maintain a staff of over 70 technical professionals delivering specialty consulting services for new infrastructure development, expansion, and renovation throughout Illinois and beyond, and we are looking to add an administrative assistant to our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in general clerical duties
· Assist in data entry and analysis
· Support current systems and procedures
· Support new process implementation and strategy
· Writing and editing letters and instructional documents
· Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
· Track internal compliance progress and completion
· Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, mailing
· Other duties as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School degree required, associates degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years related work experience preferred
- Computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with the ability/desire to lead tasks
